The Easter period in Marbella heralded the opening of several exciting new venues as well as the reopening of some old favourites…On the Golden Mile, in the site of the old Polo House, an innovative new Indian restaurant Chowka, has opened under the tutelage of Head Chef Ravi Deulkar, a rising star in the modern Indian food movement. Ravi’s food is healthy and heavily influenced by the traditional recipes and cooking methods found in typical Indian Chowka’s (Mothers’ kitchens). He predominantly uses coastal ingredients and local seasonal produce. Ravi’s recent career has seen him leading the brigade at Rasoi the critically acclaimed Michelin Starred and multi award winning London restaurant, and more recently the head chef of Trishna (2 AA Rosette and recent Michelin star recipient).
Another exciting addition to Marbella’s culinary delights is a spectacular new Restaurant, Sea Grill, in The Hotel Puente Romano.
Sea Grill presents itself as an exclusive dining experience; augmented by the impressive décor designed by Andrew Martin, the acclaimed British Interior Designer. Located in the beautiful grounds of Hotel Puente Romano, the Restaurant additionally boasts stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea.
The impressive glass-walled cellars, showcasing a select array of the best national and international wines, really complete the overall Sea Grill experience, thus establishing a new International Culinary destination.
We also welcome the reopening of top night spot Aqua Mist, alongside their new chillout area La Terraza, perfectly complimenting the ever popular La Sala Restaurant and Bar
